NTIS, led by Malaysia’s Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), is a national center facilitating innovative solution development. It provides regulatory relaxations to expedite the transition from R&D to commercial readiness. The initiative aims to develop local talent, transforming Malaysia into a high-tech nation, enhancing productivity, and upgrading digital infrastructure.

Futurise, appointed by MOSTI, implements the National Technology and Innovation Sandbox, driving the National Regulatory Sandbox to accelerate local technology and innovation at all stages. As a technical evaluator within NTIS, Futurise ensures regulatory compliance and is part of the Technical and Executive Selection Committees to coordinate the implementation process effectively.
